The magnate has topped this year’s Australian Financial Review Rich List with a personal wealth of a staggering $28.89 billion.

Rinehart’s wealth more than doubled this year as the iron ore price soared.
Second on the list is Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest, who almost tripled his wealth to $23 billion.
The West Australian businessman is also cashing in on the resources boom, with his Fortescue Metals Group posting a record net profit.
He has made some notable investments this year, including bringing Australian footwear brand RM Williams back to Australia.
